Signing In
StitchX Velo is an invitation-only app for cycling organizations. You cannot create an account on your own — a team administrator must invite you first.
Once you receive an invitation email, tap the link to accept it and associate your account. Then open the app and sign in using:
- Google — sign in with your Google account
- Microsoft — sign in with your Microsoft or work account
- Apple — sign in with your Apple ID
Use the same identity provider you used when accepting the invitation.
NFC vs QR Code Scanning
Equipment tags support two scan methods. You can switch between them using the toggle at the bottom of the Pair Equipment and Inspect Equipment screens.
- NFC — hold your iPhone near the tag. Works with compatible NFC equipment tags and requires no camera.
- QR Code — point your camera at the QR code printed on the tag. Use this if your tags have QR codes or if NFC is unavailable.
Your preferred scan mode is saved automatically and remembered the next time you open the app. You can also change the default in Settings.
Manual Entry
If scanning is not available — for example, if the camera is unavailable or NFC is not working — you can enter a tag ID manually.
Tap Manual Entry below the Scan button on any scan screen. A prompt will appear where you can type the tag ID directly.
